1963 Porsche 356B T6 Coupe
The 1963 Porsche 356B T6 Coupe is a beautifully refined sports car that represents the evolution of Porsche’s first production model. As part of the T6 generation introduced in late 1961, it featured notable updates, including a larger front hood with twin grilles for better cooling, an external fuel filler on the right front fender, and a reshaped front trunk for increased storage. Retaining its signature curvaceous design, the 356B T6 combined timeless styling with improved functionality. Power came from an air-cooled, rear-mounted 1.6L flat-four engine, available in multiple variants, producing up to 90 hp in the Super 90 model, paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Its lightweight chassis, independent suspension, and precise steering delivered an engaging driving experience. Inside, the cabin was simple yet elegant, featuring high-quality materials, comfortable bucket seats, and a classic VDO gauge cluster. As one of the final iterations before the 356C, the 1963 Porsche 356B T6 Coupe remains highly collectible, admired for its blend of vintage charm, reliable engineering, and rewarding performance. This beautiful example is owned by Ben Stindt of Prairie Village, Kansas and underwent a total frame off restoration which was completed in 2021. On loan from Bennet Stindt.
